The “Bocote”!
This ‘Pocket Token’ is made from the Exotic wood “Bocote”.. It is found in Mexico and Central and South America; It has a yellowish brown body with dramatic dark brown to almost black stripes. Sometimes has swirling “eyes” and other figuring. A nice pocket reminder!
The embedded Masonic Square & Compasses emblem is the same as I use on my knives. Token Diameter: 1-1/4″; Thickness: between 5/16″ and 3/8″. Unstained. Polished.
